Beauty is what impels me to paint. I look to create a mood,
convey a feeling or bring back an impression.

I have been honored by being given signature status in The Pastel
Society of America and The Pastel Society of the West Coast, as well
as juried membership in The National Association of Women Artists and
The Degas Pastel Society. I am listed in Marquis' Who's Who in America
and Who's Who in the World and a member of the National Association
of Professional Women.

In April 2001, I had an article published in The Artist's Magazine,
entitled "Layers of Suggestion", wherein I described how I create my
paintings.

Two of my paintings were selected for the cover of Dan's Papers, which
is distributed in The Hamptons and in New York City and one was chosen
for the cover of The Montauk Pioneer.

I have won several awards and have exhibited in many prestigious
juried, solo and group shows and galleries, including the Pen and
Brush, Salmagundi Club in N.Y.C., the International Association of
Pastel Societies, The United Pastelists of America, The Pastel Society
of the West Coast, The Degas Pastel Society, The Jemison-Carnegie
Heritatage Hall Museum in Alabama, The Connecticut Pastel Society,
The
Pastel Painters of Cape Cod, The Elaine Benson Gallery in
Bridgehampton, N.Y. The National Association of Women Artists and
the Works Gallery in N.Y.C.

My paintings are in numerous collections both here and abroad.

In addition to my original paintings, archival giclee prints and custom
collages are available.
